Quality Policy of Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente

Nowadays, customers are becoming more and more aware of the importance of all aspects, related to quality and guarantee, expecting their suppliers to be completely committed to the integration and development of their processes, installations, products and services.

Solaria have established a system of quality control based on the requisites of the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000 and the UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2004 Regulations, having obtained the certificates for these Systems through SGS ICS Ibérica, S.A., an organisation authorised by ENAC (National Authorising Organisation).

This management system, along with its quality policy, may be found on all our company levels, permitting a continuous improvement in production processes for solar cells and modules and thermal solar collectors.

In order to achieve these quality levels, something which Management also believes in, the highest commitment and the ability to work together are necessary for different departments and people belonging to the company, always working to promote both internal and external communication.

All Solaria modules are subject to the highest quality control, both before, during and after the production process.

• Controls before production: Quality control is carried out by automatic inspection of materials supplied to Solaria, through which the Company seeks to guarantee the quality of the raw materials obtained from external suppliers.
• During production: Quality control is carried out by the automatic checking and visual inspections, by which the Company seeks to maximise the efficiency of the production lines, eliminating any material as soon as any possible defect is detected.
• After production controls: Quality controls are carried out by our factory simulation process and over 30 visual inspections, which is how the Company seeks to guarantee the maximum quality in the modules and detect any defects in the materials and/or in the production process of the product.
• At the end of the photovoltaic module production process there is a team of Quality Inspectors who run a final check on all the modules made. This team also check that storage conditions are good when the modules are held in the logistic centre.

All Solaria Photovoltaic Modules have the CE statement of approval (CE Directive 2004/108/CE of Electromagnetic Compatibility and 2006/95 CE Directive for Low Voltage). They also have the UNE-EN 61215 and Class II Electrical Safety certificates issued by AENOR (Spanish Standardisation and Certification Association). The tests on Solaria photovoltaic panels, which the certificates are based on, have been carried out by the CENER-CIEMAT Foundation. The National Centre of Renewable Energy (CENER) is a technological centre specialised in applied investigation, development and promotion of renewable energy. Solaria have a high qualification and a recognised national and international prestige. Their activities are conducted under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Centre of Energy, Environmental and Technological Investigation (CIEMAT) all of them, together with the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce are part of their trust.

The capacity of Solaria’s thermal solar collectors has been tested and certified in the same way by CENER. At the same time, Solaria thermal solar panels have achieved the homologation certificate of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce which, under the current regulations, permits their customers to benefit from public subsidies when installing their thermal solar product.
