Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente manufactures both solar and thermal cells and panels, rolls out turnkey projects for large installations, operates solar plants and generates electricity through Solaria owned plants. Its rapid expansion and technological innovation have in only a few years positioned Solaria as one of the leading companies in the renewable energy sector, enabling it in 2009 to commence the internationalisation of the company by means of international cooperation agreements and by establishing subsidiaries in countries such as Italy, France and Germany.

Founded in 2002 and composed by a human team with more than 20 years of experience in the Energy sector, since June 2007, it is the first solar company listed in the Spanish Stock Exchange. Solaria has gradually expanded its infrastructure and its production capacity to levels which establish it as one of the largest manufacturers of solar and thermal panels at international level thanks to its production plants located in Spain at Puertollano (Ciudad Real) and Fuenmayor (La Rioja). This expansion has been achieved through major investment in R+D+i, as well as equipping all its facilities with state-of-the-art industrial machinery. The semi-automated production lines were designed by the Solaria engineering team to enable continuous and strict control of cost efficiencies, as key factors to the control of this growth.
