The thermal solar collectors use the solar radiation energy and the greenhouse effect to generate thermal energy for domestic or commercial uses. Different to photovoltaic systems, that are used to generate electricity from solar energy, thermal solar technologies transform solar energy into heat.
Solaria thermal panels act as solar radiation collectors isolating the captured energy and transferring it from a fluid transferral means to its final destiny through a heat exchanger.
The technical department of Solaria works with architectural studies to help in the architectural integration of thermal solar panels on the roofs of homes. At the same time, the Company also works with different engineers in the development of optimised acclimatisation systems according to an economy and efficiency energy concept, which includes thermal solar panels as a means of generating energy.
Solaria produce their thermal solar panels basically for domestic hot water uses and collective hot water, although the design is sufficiently flexible for use in other thermal solar applications such as combined domestic hot water and heating and for central heating uses.
Solaria has one type of thermal solar panel, the solar collector SOLARIA STH. The Company has designed it to maximise solar absorption, reducing heat loss to a minimum and making a cost effective solution available for their clients.
The production process is made up of six main stages:
First, the assembly of the aluminium structure.
Second, the isolating sheets and the thermo plastic elements are fixed on all sides of the casing to reduce heat loss to a minimum.
